Quick Definition A Spud Gun is a device made out of sewer piping and various other similar components to form a cannon that shoots projectiles (typically potatoes) at very high velocities. A standard "combustion" gun has an average range of 200m. or less. A pneumatic gun, powered by compressed air, has a MUCH larger range (closer to 500m.)
