The bipod is simply a bunch of PVC jammed together to form a support for the gun.  Because a loaded and fueled gun becomes very heavy and tiresome to hold if you are training your gun on something that won't stay still.  The frame of the bipod is detachable.  I am currently searching for a piece that will allow you to fold the legs up for easy storage.

The bipod also is an excellent tool for remote ignition, recoil testing, and altitude measurements
